Travel to Princeton

The workshop will start on September 20 will include a full day of talks and posters. Please keep this in mind when making your travel arrangements.

AIRPORTS:

Newark Liberty International Airport (code: EWR), 40 miles north is the easiest way to get to Princeton. On arrival at Newark Airport take the Air Train from terminals to Newark Liberty International Airport train station. Then take NJ Transit Northeast Corridor train going to Trenton and alight at the Princeton Junction station. At the station take a taxi to your hotel. Participants staying at the Nassau Inn can take the famous ‘Dinky‘ branch line from Princeton Junction to the ‘Princeton‘ station in downtown Princeton. Train tickets to either Princeton Junction or Princeton are available at Newark Airport.

Limousine service is also available between the airports and Princeton. You could try a google search for ‘limousine reservations princeton’. Advance reservations are usually needed.

La Guardia Airport (LGA) (68 miles north)

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) 55 miles south

Public transportation from JFK, LGA, PHL to Princeton involves multiple connections.

This workshop does not have a room block or conference rate. Rooms may be reserved at the following nearby hotel at standard rates.

Westin Hotel $195/night (12 min from PU by HOTEL SHUTTLE OR PRIVATE CAR conf. bus).

This hotel features a heated indoor pool, gym and is also the location of the conference banquet. The hotel is located in Forrestal Village, with a variety of shops and fine restaurants and is about 1.3 km walking distance to Carnegie Lake. Breakfast M-F opens at 6:30 AM.

The Westin has a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Marriott Courtyard $208/night (10 min from PU by HOTEL SHUTTLE OR PRIVATE CAR conf. bus).

Breakfast opens at 6:00 AM. The hotel has a limited shuttle service to downtown Princeton: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM and Mon-Thurs 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM.

You may cancel you reservation up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date.

Nassau Inn $360/night (2 minutes walk from PU, 15 minutes walk to Maeder Hall).

This hotel is in the historic town of Princeton.

Please check with the hotel of your choosing about Government Rate availability when making your travel arrangements. A US Government ID will likely be required at check-in to obtain the government rate.
