Welcome to the PASD Age Group Swimming page. The age group swim team is open to all district residents or non-residents grades K-8 in the winter season and K-12 in the summer season. Prerequisites
This is a competitive swim program, not swimming lessons. Children wishing to participate on the team must be able to swim a minimum of one lap (25 yards) of front crawl (freestyle) without stopping.

Meet and Practice Schedule
Swim meets are usually held on Saturday mornings in the winter and Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer.
Winter practices are usually held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Group B (8 and Under - 9-10): 6:00 - 6:45 P.M.
Group A (11-12 - 13-14): 6:45 - 8:00 P.M.
Summer practices are usually held Monday through Friday.
Group B (8 and Under - 11-12) 8:00 - 9:00 A.M.
Group A (13-14 - 15-18) 9:00 - 10:30 A.M.

The cost is $60.00 for the first child, $45.00 for the second child, and $35.00 for each additional child. Registration may be paid by cash or check made payable to the Pottsville Area School District.
