Rex Yee placed 2nd out of 17 competitors in Extemporaneous Speaking qualifying for the State Competition.

District Speaking Development Events

Rex Yee was our District Champ in Extemporaneous Speaking out of 7 contestants

Hannah Watts compteted in Senior prepared Animal Science and placed 2nd out of 5 contestants

Daniel Max Orta placed 1st in soil stewardship out of 4 competitors

Rex, Hannah and Max all qualified for the area competition in Robstown TX.

Ross Mikolajczyk was 5th place High point

The Poteet FFA traveled to Robstown to participate in the annual Area X FFA Career Development Events contest. The Nursery Landscape team dominated over the competition placing 1^st and advancing to the State FFA contest which will be held in Huntsville on April 28^th Team members area Daniel Orta – 1^st high point , Rex Yee 2^nd high point, Ross Mikolajczyk 8^th high point, Jared Stevens and Sarah Anzulda.

The Milk Quality team placed 3^rd also advancing to the State contest in Stephenville on April 27^th. Team members are Lacey Stevens 7^th high point, Jayci Kennedy 8^th high point, Karen Ortega, Hannah Watts, Lauren Davila, Brooke Rassmussen, and Kayli Kennedy.
