Poteet FFA Members attended the Wintergarden District FFA Banquet on Tuesday, April 14th in Pearsall. They recieved some of the awards they won this year, and Ross Mikolajczyk was elected as the 2015-2016 Wintergarden District Sentinel. ​
Rebekah Wagner placed 6th High Point Individual in the Range Plant ID contest at the Fort Worth Livestock Show.
She also placed 2nd with her Chester White breeding gilt at the show as well. (2014-2015)
The Poteet FFA Radio Broadcasting Team competed at the Area X contest on November 24th. They placed 2nd and advanced to state at Sam Houston State University on December 5th. Team members are Rebekah Wagner, Shannon Dooley, and Caitlin Crisp. Way to go Poteet FFA! (2015)
Poteet FFA Senior Broadcasting team - Julia Smith, Cutter Blagg, Brooke Rasmussen
571 teams across the state of Texas and the Poteet FFA placed 10th.
1st place Wintergarden FFA District competed virtually - 11-16-2020
2nd place Area X FFA competed virtually - 11-20-2020
State Qualifier in Heat 2 - placed in Top 5 - competed virtually - 12-2-2020
Placed 10th in the state Finals - competed virtually - 12-5-2020
Julia Smith was presented with her Texas FFA Lone Star Degree with her fellow officer team on Tuesday, September 29. The Texas FFA Convention was cancelled due to Covid this summer, so the Poteet FFA officer team with Superintendent, Mr. Camarrillo and HS Principal, Mr. Dominguez had a small ceremony and presented Julia with her certificate and FFA Lone Star charm.
