We are excited to continue the Pirate Quest Summer Program. This program is being funded by the High-Quality Afterschool and Summer Learning Programs Initiative. This program will be free to Poteau Pirate students.
We have scheduled our Pirate Quest Summer Program to start Tuesday, May 28, 2024 through Friday, June 28, 2024. The program will run Monday-Friday with the exception of the first day. Students can be dropped off at 7:45 a.m. and must be picked up by 5:30 p.m. each day. If your child needs to go to Pirate Quest at 3:00 p.m. after Choctaw Summer School, he/she will be escorted to the appropriate site. Bus transportation will be available in the morning and at 3:00 p.m. Students will be served breakfast, lunch and one snack each day. This year’s theme is From Little Seeds Grow Mighty Trees. We will be planning activities and field trips that go along with our theme.
If you would like to be considered for our summer program, please complete this Summer 2024 Enrollment Application. It will be a first come first serve basis. After each class is full, there will be a waiting list.
Space is limited to 20 PreK Students, 26 Kindergarten Students, 26 1st grade Students, 26 2nd grade Students, 26 3rd grade Students, and 26 4th grade Students, so please return by April 15, 2024. Late applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
