In The Daly Library, we hope to foster a love of reading in our students! It is also our mission to help students find and use information effectively, think critically, and to become good digital citizens. The library is a place to discover the joy of learning!
Meet Mrs. Pinto
Mrs. Pinto has been a school library media specialist in the Port Washington School District for the past 23 years, most of them at Daly Elementary School! Prior to that she was a classroom teacher and library media specialist in upstate New York. Mrs. Pinto has a B.S. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Curriculum Development & Instructional Technology, and a Master of Library Science degree from SUNY Albany.
She is always excited to help students find amazing books, explore new and exciting technology, and become super information problem solvers. She teaches all Daly students in grades K-5, as well as our youngest friends in our preschool program!
When she is not reading, shespends a crazy amount of time at ball fields watching hertwo boys play baseball. She enjoys walking, baking, scrapbooking, gardening, playing with her 3 kitty cats, visitingDisney World, going on insane scary roller coasters at Universal Studios, and taking local history trips (see pics)
