ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAMS

The Summer School for elementary-aged students will be science focused, using STEM programming to engage in hands-on learning while improving key skiis in literacy and math. This is by invitation only at this time.

Dates/Times: July 5-28 Monday-Thursday 4.5 hours/day. Exact time TBD. See below for locations and age group.

Peaks Island School

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Peaks Island Elementary School will be organizing academic programs and community partner programs that align with student’s academic and social-emotional needs.

AGES: K - 5th graders.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Stem-based camp for Lyseth and Talbot rising Grade 6 students.. Spend the week engaging in design challenges while using Makerspace tools. Create your own Rube Goldberg contraption.

LOCATION: Lyseth Elementary or Deering High School

AGES: Rising 6th graders.
