One Bottle of Pop

One Bottle of Pop

Third graders will remember this from music class!

Can you sing a canon? Don't let me mess you up!

Have a ukulele? Try to learn the F and C chords to strum and sing!

Cup Song

Plastic cup beat

This is one way you can create a beat with a simple plastic cup. Use this rhyme to help you get the moves:

"Clap clap tap tap tap, move the cup-Keep the beat and don't mess up!"

This will take some practice, but give it a try!

Now notice how this works with a partner; Can you try this with someone at home? I had to teach it to someone to at my house to make the video-Can you teach it to someone?

Echo Songs

Here are some songs for review from past music classes. If you remember them, try being the teacher and leading them for your family!

Rickabamboo

Learn a new song with me for today's musical activity. "Rickabamboo" is a fun campfire song that is an echo song. If you remember it from last year's music class YOU can be the teacher and lead it for someone at your house. Have fun making music with your family.

Instruments of the Orchestra

Instruments of the Orchestra

Students at OAES have been exploring the sounds of the instruments of the Orchestra. We've been working our way through the woodwinds, Brass, Percussion and Strings families. Do you remember which colors we used to fill in our coloring sheet? Here is another page for you to complete at home; ask your parents to put on some classical music while you color!
