OAES Chorus 2019-2020
Chorus Music
Did you know that singing strengthens the immune system, helps with sleep, lowers stress and improves mental alertness? These are just some of the benefits of singing. Now you can share some of the songs we have been learning in chorus this year with your family or pets. BRAVO Evan Cuddy, our accompanist, for making these great recordings to sing with.
Voice Warm ups
Before you start signing, it's important to warm up your voice. Warming up your voice stretches your vocal chords and helps clear your throat. It helps with breathing too. It helps with breathing too, just like when you stretch your muscles before running or playing sports!
Moving Voices and Moving Bodies
This chorus is called Gondwana Voices and is Australia’s national choir for treble singers aged 10-17. The ensemble has built an international reputation for performances of outstanding musicianship. Love how they combine body percussion with their musical voices!
