Preside over association meetings in the absence of the president;

SECRETARY
The secretary shall
Keep accurate records of minutes of all official meetings of the Association;
Maintain official files of the Association; and,
Perform such other duties as delegated by the President
Attends 1 School Board Meeting each month
Attends all E Board Meetings
Attends all RA meetings
Schedules and confirms locations for RA and Exec Board meetings

TREASURER
The treasurer shall
Hold the funds of the Association and disburse them upon authorization of the Executive Board;
Maintain records of receipts and disbursements;
Maintain membership rolls;
Prepare financial reports for meetings of the Executive Board.
Annual financial statement to be distributed to the general membership or Representative Assembly
Ensure proper IRS documents are filed.
Attends 1 School Board Meeting a month
Attends all E Board Meetings
Attends all RA meetings
Schedules and organizes the PEA Retirement Party

ED TECH VP
The Vice President shall

Representative Assembly (RA)
First point of contact for staff with concerns or questions about the contract.
Schedules and holds regular union meetings in their buildings to share union updates.
Attends the monthly RA meetings

Article VII REPRESENTATIVE ASSEMBLY APPORTIONMENT
Representatives to the Assembly shall be elected as follows:
Section 1. Each building shall have one representative for every 12 members. Any building having at least 6 members more than any multiple of 12 is entitled to one
additional representative.
Section 2. Each "school of the area" or bargaining unit with at least 6 members shall be entitled to one representative.
Section 3. Educational Technicians shall have one position in each building
Section 4. Each building representative is responsible for attending or sending an alternate to all scheduled Assembly meetings. A directive from the Vice President
(Assembly Chairperson) to elect a new building representative shall be sent to the constituency of any building representatives remiss in their duties.
Section 1. The legislative and policy-forming body of the Association shall be the Representative Assembly.
Section 2. Members of the Representative Assembly shall be elected representatives from each school building in the area of the Association, and standing committee
Chairpersons appointed by the President and confirmed by the Representative Assembly. Officers of the Association are also members of the Representative
Assembly.
Section 3. Any member of the Association who is not a member of the Representative Assembly may attend and, with permission of the Assembly, may debate. Said
Members may not vote or sit with the general body.
Section 4. Representative Assembly members shall be elected from the membership by the end of May of each year. Before the election of its members, the
Representative Assembly shall determine the apportionment of the members for the following year using the most current membership lists.
