The Portland Education Association (PEA) is an affiliate of the Maine Education Association (MEA) and the National Education Association (NEA)

National Education Association Trainings, Seminars, Webinars, Conferences, Cadres and other opportunities (including the NEA-Representative Assembly in June).

Maine Education Association Trainings, Informational Seminars, webinars, and any 

other MEA opportunities (including the MEA-Representative Assembly in May).

National Council of Urban Education Associations--A subgroup of the NEA that we are affiliated with also offers additional opportunities to our membership.  

Maine AFL-CIO--While we are not an affiliate or member of the AFL-CIO, we have a strong and growing partnership.  Opportunities offered by either the Maine AFL-CIO or one of its labor councils.
