As we embark on this journey of learning remotely it is the perfect chance for us to practice our digital citizenship skills that we have learnt at school. At Port Ahuriri School we abide by the THINK strategy when posting online. All posts and comments will be approved by a teacher before they are posted online.

Before you start Term 2 it can be a good idea to reach an agreement within your household around device use for this lockdown period, including sites your child can visit and times they can use devices. Perhaps writing up a digital contract with your whanau could be a good activity to do on the first day of term 2?
