From September 2021 trainees are required to cover a range of School-based Training Tasks with their mentor which reflect the 'Learn how to...' statements from the ITTECF document.
These tasks are now embedded in the Mentor record. Mentors should feel free to use their professional judgement to reorder or add extra tasks as appropriate. They should check that the trainee has reflected any changes in their mentor record though. To help mentors of PGCE students there is an overview of all the tasks that can also be used to keep track of any changes.
