Welcome To DSS Lab
Our research group is committed to developing sustainable catalysts that address key environmental and energy challenges efficiently. We focus on creating advanced photocatalysts and photocatalytic catalysts for water treatment, hydrogen production, biomass valorization, pollutant degradation, and CO₂ utilization. These catalysts are based on low-cost, non-toxic materials, such as carbon-based composites, metal-doped catalysts, and biomass-derived catalysts, ensuring sustainability at every stage. We enhance their catalytic efficiency and stability by incorporating techniques like doping, composite formation, and morphological modifications. Our work explores how these catalysts can operate under mild conditions, maximizing energy efficiency while minimizing resource consumption and environmental impact. Whether in the form of photocatalysts for light-driven reactions or non-light-driven catalysts for chemical transformations, our sustainable catalysts aim to contribute to a circular economy by providing clean, efficient solutions for energy production, pollution control, and waste recycling.
