Our research group focuses on advancing photo catalysis for biomass valorization, developing novel photo catalysts and materials that utilize visible and UV light for efficient biomass conversion into valuable chemicals and fuels. We are dedicated to designing innovative catalysts with enhanced light absorption properties and stability, enabling better performance under various light conditions. Our work also includes an in-depth analysis of various photo catalytic materials, such as semiconductors, carbon-based composites, and metal-organic frameworks, to identify the most promising options for specific biomass transformations. We explore real-world applications of these materials, evaluating their effectiveness in sustainable energy production, waste treatment, and chemical synthesis. Through these advancements, we aim to drive the practical implementation of green technologies in a circular economy.
