Tickets:

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets will be sold in the front office between March 3 - April 18. You can purchase a ticket in person for yourself and your guest/date in the front Office.                                          

Tickets are $70 per couple and $40 for single CASH ONLY!!!   NO cards or checks please!

How many tickets can I buy?

Juniors and Seniors may purchase up to 2 tickets, ONE for themselves and ONE for a GUEST. The guest may be a CHS student or a non-CHS student (must be at least a freshmen in high school and under 21 years of age at the time of prom). A guest prom approval form must be submitted to the front office between March 3 - April. 11 to bring a non-CHS student as a date/guest. 

Can I sell/give my prom ticket to someone else?

No. You cannot sell or give your prom ticket to someone else. All tickets are documented by the name of the purchaser and will be also be checked during check in at prom. If you decide to not go to prom before FRIDAY, April 18, please reach out to the Front Office to get your refund along with your proof of purchase (receipt) and tickets.

Where can I get a prom guest approval form?

You can download the form here or pick one up in the front office.

Who needs to fill out a guest/date approval form?

If you are bringing a date/guest that does not attend CHS then you must submit a CHS prom approval form to the front office by THURSDAY,April 11th.  Guest approval forms are not needed for freshmen and sophomore CHS students who are attending as a guest/date.

Where do I turn in my date/guest approval form?

Forms must be turned in to the front office by Thursday, April. 11. No late forms will be accepted.

Will I get my prom date/date approval form back?

If there is an issue with your form or if it rejected, then you will be notified by the front office.  If you are concerned about the status of your form please email Ms. Westfield at Julie.Westfield@polk.k12.ga.us. Please allow for a few school days to pass after turning in your form to reach out.

What if I am homeschooled/ online/ or College, do I still need to fill out a guest/date approval form?

Yes. On the guest form, fill out Step 1 AND Step 2 .  On Step 2 make sure to read and check off the box. On Step 3, we will only need your previous school. Make sure to attach a picture ID ( Drivers license/ Student Id/ Identification with a picture) along with the guest form before turning it in to the front office.

Prom King & Queen / Senior Walk:

How are students voted for prom queen and king?

Seniors can nominate seniors for prom nominations through an online form in April. Then a final vote for seniors will be held to select the prom king and queen during check-in at prom electronically.

When will Prom King and Queen be announced?

The goal is to announce the members of prom queen and king during prom. All of the nominees will be honored at prom and king and queen will be crowned later in the evening.

What is the Senior Walk?

As part of our Prom tradition, we have Seniors walk with their guest/ date into the main floor as their last walk to a dance.  We will have a videographer during that time doing a live on our school's Facebook page. 

At what time will the Senior Walk be?

Our goal is to have the senior walk at 10:00pm-10:30pm. Senior Walk will be broadcasted live thru our school's Facebook page. Please see our page for more information on that day. Seniors that wish to participate in the senior walk, will need to be in the venue before 10pm.

Where can I park if I take my own car?

Other:

What is the dress code for prom? 

Formal attire is required for prom. Formal dresses and tuxes/suits are expected. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, boots or other casual clothing allowed.  Failure to not follow dress code could result in being denied access to event, even if you bought your ticket.

Will the Senior Walk be live?

Yes. Senior walk will be broadcast live thru our school's Facebook page. Please see our school's Facebook page for more information.

Can I still purchase tickets on the day of prom?

No. Absolutely NO ticket purchases can be made on prom day.  Not even if you have cash in person.
