According to Munuyandi, Thulasirani, Husain, et al (2021) the use of tools such as Quizizz helps engage the students and make the interaction more fun and entertaining for students.

I used of tools such as Quizizz to make the assessment and general interaction more enjoyable for the students.
Another tool that I used was Google Jamboard which allows students to perform collaborative activities in an online set-up.
I utilize the tools provided by the school to manage the outputs and grades of the sections assigned to me.

Before reading a poem I choose difficult or unfamiliar words and used memes to familiarize them with new words
Providing students opportunities to showcase or improve their reading and speaking skills in class and correct obvious mistakes that they make.

I asked my students to tell me what was the event being depicted in the poem and to point out the lines or stanzas that support their claim
The questions were presented all at once so that the students will be able to formulate their answers while their classmates answers.

USE OF FILIPINO DURING DISCUSSION
I allowed my students to speak in Filipino if they were really struggling or sharing their insights/opinions about recent issues of which they were passionate about however, I still encourage them to speak in English. I also speak in Filipino to restate some points that make more sense in the Filipino language and if the context is appropriate.

I am always try to be animated whenever it is possible in order to keep the attention of my students especially in an online set-up
I feel like by having a smile on your face will make you seem more approachable and allows students to be comfortable and participate more in class.
Nodding your head and acknowledging their answers will encourage them to be more active in class.
