GENERAL REFLECTIONS
Overall, I realized that classroom management is vital because it can define your efficiency and effectivity as a teacher. It greatly affects the learning of the students and it contributes to their engagement and participation during class. A good classroom management reflects the skill of the teacher, with this skill, it can definitely make students learn something from you and your discussion. In addition, I believe that in employing classroom management strategies, it must be research-based. Everything that is going on in the classroom that concerns to the learning of the students and factors that contribute it should always be based on research to ensure that the students really learn in the class through meeting their needs and demands as learners. Through research-based approach and strategies in handling students, it could make sure that every student, regardless of how diverse they are, would be catered according to their own way of learning.
As pre-service teacher, I firmly believe that the classroom management skill should always be prioritized just like the content and delivery. It is very vital that if a teacher has no good and effective classroom management strategy in class, the rest will not go into place. The delivery of the content of the teacher will suffer and the learnings of the students will be compromised. It should be the primary skill that a teacher and an aspiring teacher should possess to give the best quality of education they can offer to the students.
