Today is the first day of our first term as a fourth year student. We had a 5hour General Orientation on Experiential Learning meeting and discussion with Dr. Victoria Delos Santos together with the Director, Faculty and Staffs of Philippine Normal University, Guests, Practice teachers and Field Study teachers. During the session they discussed about Application Procedures, Requirements, Flexible learning activities, Roles and Responsibilities.

I realized how important scheduling is and I learned 9 roles and responsibilities of a Practice Teacher.

This is the First day of PATNURO 2021 with the theme: Sustaining Resiliency in Experiential Learning. The session started in singimg the national anthem and followed by doxology, PNU Mission, Vision and Quality Policy, ITL Flexible Learning Program Video and Opening Remarks of Dr. Darryl Roy T. Montebon, lastly is the messages from different faculty or programs. After that Dr. Victoria Delos Santos present the Introduction of Participants with Practice teaching Supervisors and Principals, More so, Dr. Jesusa L. Bulotano discussed the Lecture 1 entitled Learning Program of Catholic Schools. The session is ended with the Retrospections or questions from the PT's and answered by the lecturer.

This is the Second day of PATNURO 2021. The second lecture is presented by Mr. Benedicto Pascual, Principal of Espiritu Santo Parochial School. The lecture is all about Classroom Management in Online Classes and I learned effective online classroom management from the speaker. I remembered the three characteristics of an effective teacher. First is, The teacher has positive expectation for student success. Second, The teacher knows how to design lessons for mastery and lastly is, the teacher is an extremely good classroom manager. Also, I learned about the components of Effective classroom management which is the lesson planning, uality of classroom instruction and behavior management. The third lecture is presented by Ms. Elizabeth Pastor, Principal of Manila Cathedral School. The lecture is all about Proper Decorum and I learned 21 proper decorum that I will be applying to my daily teaching and to my future class.

This is the Third and last day of PATNURO 2021. The session started with the doxology and opening remarks followed by the lecture 4 which is headed by Dr. Montebon, the topic is all about Classroom Based Action Research and Dr. Montebon shared a sample of CBAR as well as the definition, characteristics, and steps on how to do a CBAR. The fifth and last lecture is presented by Ms. Jenny Lyn Chua, Principal of Holy CHild Catholic School. The topic is all about Assessment in the New Normal and she discussed the definition of assessment, the considerations in giving online assessment and online assessment tools. Moreover, the retrospection happened and it is headed by Dr. Victoria Delos Santos.

Finally, before this day ends Dr. Anabelle Palmery headed the Practice of Pinning Ceremony. It was indeed a happy day because I saw how happy our parents are, because we're finally one step closer to our dream.

Today is our Practice Teaching Pinning Ceremony with the theme, Conquering the challenges in Experiential Learning and it is indeed a Happy day to all of us Practice Teachers. This is also the day of our Deployment and I am deployed to teach in San Rafael Parochial School.

This is the day that we will meet the Principal and Teachers of San Rafael Parochial School. Dr. Melita Magsombol, the principal presented to us the Teachers of each grade level. She discussed to us the Responsibilities of Student Teachers in SRPS. She also presented to us the Rise session or the synchronous session of all the Cooperating Teachers. I am assigned to be one of the Practice Teacher of Ms. Ramcel Joy Manabat and I am assigned to teach Mathematic in Grade 3 students. The schedules given to me is Monday and Tuesday, 10:20-11:00.

This day is our first meeting with Dr. Marilou Ubiña. It is a quick meeting, and it is done not less than 30minutes. First thing that we do is to get to know each other and then after that we talked about the schedules, updates about CBAR, and requirements.

On This day, Teacher Ramcel asked me to join their everyday routine which is the Morning Worship. This morning worship starts at 7:30am and ends at 8:00am. As I was observed the students of SRPS are very serious and attentive. I am also amazed during the worship because they know and they can follow the routines and their parts, they know when to and when not to speak. After the morning worship, the practice teachers are preparing for the next meeting on 10:00am together with the SRPS Principal Ms. Magsombol and the Cooperating Teachers. The meeting started always with the prayer and greetings and right after that Ms. Magsombol asked Ms. Christina Salo to present the different types of Lesson plan per Grade. I realized that when you are in other school or let say you are an intern in other school, you need to adapt what they have or what they used. Moreover, the principal decided that we are going to used the template of their Lesson Plans and not our template when we are in PNU-ITL. One thing that is remarkable to me is that Lesson Planning is very important most especially your way of teaching the lesson.

This is my second day attending the morning worship and I am assigned to take lead the worship, I am the one who reads what is shown in the screen and the students are the one who answers after me. I am very happy that all of the students in the meeting already know me and they even call me "Teacher Karla".

After the morning worship we are asked to join in the google meet link because SRPS have their Activity entitled Battle of the brains. The participants are the representatives of each Grade Level. The virtual battle starts with the prayer and then presenting of players and mechanics. All I can say about this is that the activity is well-organized and well-prepared.

Today is my third day of attending the morning worship. I already tried the google attendance in google extensions that Teacher Ramcel asked me to do in every meeting.

This is also the day when I first observed the class of Ms. Manabat. First, I was impressed during the class of Ms. Ramcel because of her Powerpoint Presentation as well as the organized Classroom routines: Greetings, Prayer, Energizer, Classroom Rules, Motivation, Discussion, Activity and Closing Prayer. Second, I honestly observed how really prepared Teacher Ramcel is, in teaching the lesson (Subtraction). Third, She’s very detailed and easily to understand. I like how she explain and ask her students to solve the problem and think on their own. Fourth, I like how she discussed the lesson because she didn’t only focus on what is in the presentation but, she relates the topic from the previous lesson so that the students recall and remember what they’ve learned. Fifth, I saw that Teacher Ramcel can accommodate the needs of her students and her students participated well. Sixth, she provided an engaging Activity using Word Wall and that is a good strategy to catch the learners attention and I think all of her students participated and most of them got perfect score. Lastly, Teacher Ramcel managed her class time well.

Another activity happened today is MR. and MS. United Nation 2021. I am very happy because the students of each level is very participative and competitive. They put a lot of effort in their costumes and make-ups.

Today we had a short meeting with Dr. Ubiña, She shared a recorded teaching demo of a Practice Teacher who's assigned in other parochial school. She wants us to watched and critic the video and give comments and feedback.

From the recorded video that we've watched. I realized that we need to be 100% sure in the topic or lesson that we will teach to our students. I learned that before you teach your lesson or before you present to class, you always need to double or triple check what you wrote or type in the powerpoint presentation because it will be forever on the minds of your students. what they saw or heard from you is what they learned. And as a Teacher, of course we do not want our students to read unnecessary words and not appropriate to our lesson.

Today I really feel that I am a Teacher. It was so Busy day. There are lot of things we need to do before we teach in class. So that, today, Teacher Ramcel shared to us the most essential learning competencies matrix or the Kto12 Curriculum that we really need to used as a guide in doing our daily lesson plan. Teacher Ramcel also present to us her daily lesson plan in mathematics 2 and 3. She discussed to us how to do a Lesson plan and what competencies or objectives we need to put in our plan. Also, she shared to us the sample quizzes, worksheets, modules and final exams.

It was a Blessed Day that I've done my first Teaching to Grade 3 Mathematics. I'm so happy that I delivered my lesson well and the students are very active and participative during my class. I liked it when I asked them if they enjoyed the class or if there is interesting part in our class and majority of the class answered that they are happy and the interesting part of my class is the motivational activity and the energizer.

This is one of my favorite day in teaching Mathematics on my Grade 3 students. They were all active, participative and excited in our class. Today, the lesson that I've discussed to them is all about Estimating the difference of two or more numbers. In the closure part of the discussion, I asked my students on what they feel about our discussion today and majority of them answered happy and enjoy. I also asked them what do you think is the most interesting part in our class today and all of them answered the motivational activity is the interesting part for them. After hearing all there answers I feel so happy and proud because everyday, they enjoyed our class and discussion and it means that they listen to me, they learned something from me. Another achievement that I've done today is that I already tried to upload files in SRPS LMS and I am the first PT who tried to used or input in the LMS.

Today we had a short meeting with teacher Ramcel. She teaches us how to use LMS specifically how to do a quiz in LMS. I am happy that I learned how to use their LMS and after the meeting I tried how to do a short quiz of 20 items. Luckily, I've done it correctly and I scheduled the quiz on the given date.

This Monday, I attended the morning assembly together with all the grade levels, faculty and staffs of San Rafael Parochial School. After morning worship Teacher ramcel asked me to join on her class in Grade 1, I observed how committed she is in teaching CLED. Also, today is my 3rd day of teaching Grade 4 and the lesson that I've discussed in the class is all about Mental subtraction using different strategies. It was another great day because they enjoyed our class and they are all participating in the class discussion. At 1pm, we had a meeting with teacher Ramcel, to talk and discussed to her the schedules of our Grand Demonstration. She also gave us the topics that we're going to teach on our teaching demo day.

Today is my birthday but what most special today is that I attended morning worship with SRPS students, faculty, and staffs and I had my 4th day of teaching Mathematics in Grade 3. I am happy that even if its a Busy day for me, I delivered my lesson well and I know that my students enjoyed the class because during the class they are all answering on our chat box and trying to understand every word problem.

I was so excited yet nervous today, because this is the first time that the Principal of San Rafael Parochial school observed my class. The lesson that I've discussed today in class is all about the Properties of Multiplication. I know that I did my best on this day because I rehearsed a lot of time for this day. I'm happy for the feedback of the principal and my cooperating teacher even thou there are something that I have to improve. I am thankful because they like my presentation and I delivered my lesson well. Also, they are happy because I have the strong communication with my students.

What I've learned today is that Context is important but what's most important in teaching is the Concept.

Today is my first time of giving Short quiz to my Grade 3 students. Before we started the quiz, we had first the prayer, rules, energizer, reminders, and of course the Objectives. During the quiz, I asked everyone to open there LMS. Some of the students cannot open or can't access the LMS because of their internet connection. My solution for these situation is that I've read all the items and then I asked them to write their answer on their notebook. I've realized that not all students have strong internet connection nor gadgets. That is why I learned that being a teacher, you don't need to focus in only one plan. We need to always have plan A to Z.

Everyday is Demo Teaching Day but, today is my Big day because this is my Grand Demo day. I rehearsed so many times for this day and I put a lot of effort in doing my power point presentation so that my students will loved it. Also, I applied all the recommendations and improvements given to me by my CT and principal. This Grand Demo is video recorded because Dr. Ubiña can't attend during my class because she had to attend on a webinar and workshop.

Before I started the Class, I saw the faces of my students, they are very happy and excited on what will be our topic for this day. At first they asked me what is on my head? And I said that that is a pumpkin and it is something to do or related on our class today. And During the class, they understand why am I wearing pumpkin on my head. The theme of my motivational activity and lesson proper is a Pumpkin Patch. I also used it in my examples in properties of multiplication. This time I applied what Ms. Magsombol sad to me, More on concept rather than context. I let my students think and guess how to get the answer in multiplication and I think they enjoyed that. After the discussion, I asked them on what do they feel in our class, and they said that they had so much fun and they learned about the different properties of multiplication and how to get the products. I am blessed because there is no problem or technical difficulties happened on this day. Also, I am thankful that my students are very active and participative.

This is my last meeting with my Grade 3 students and I am so happy to hear their messages to me and also I appreciate their messages to me before we end our class. I realized that I am really a TEACHER now. because there are so many students who appreciates me and all my efforts. Also in this day, we discussed to them the following announcement and Activities that they need to accomplished.

Today we attended the Research Forum that is part of PNU EDUCATION WEEK 2021. The event started with a doxology, national anthem, Mission, Vision and Quality Policy, followed by the opening remarks of Dr. Mabunga and Introduction of Plenary Speaker by Dr. Abenes. The Plenary Speaker in the event is Dr. Feorillo A. Demetrio III and he tackled about Research monitoring and Research University. Next is the awarding of e-certificate and picture taking. After this, The Student Research Presentation started in every breakout rooms.

Our group in research last year is chosen as one of the presenters in this event and we are presenting our research in Breakout room no.3. The title of our research is "Perception of Private School Teachers on the use of Online Platforms to support Teaching and Learning in ECE during the pandemic.

Dr. Marilou, set a meeting for our Post conference. I am very happy for her feedback and she's also happy that I've done my grand demo very well and I delivered my lesson very systematically. These are the feedbacks from Dr. Ubina:

This is the last event before the year ends. Today, we are required to attend this event entitled "The Art of Creating ePortfolio. The session starts at 9:00 in the morning and it is held via Zoom. The speaker and presenter in this event is Mr. Stephen Allen M. Dy. He is a graduate of Philippine Normal University under BMSEE. He's so intelligent and she know his portfolio very well. He shared and presented his eportfolio and he also teaches us how to make it in Google site. Before the session ends, Dr. Delos Santos presented the following requirements and tha parts of portfolio that we need to submit. I've learned another classroom rules from him, and that is "POLO". P for Participate actively, O for Off microphone, L for listen carefully and then O for Oncam if possible. I am happy because I really understand how to create eportfolio.
