Chaperones

Band usually needs about 25 chaperones. Choir usually needs about 6 chaperones. Each Chaperone will be "in charge" 8-12 students each.

If you are interested in being a chaperone on this trip, email Mr. Wells for band chaperones & Mrs. Wells for choir chaperones. Subject heading: Trip Chaperone!

What to expect

2 chaperones per hotel room
"in charge" of 8-12 students
Make sure your students are ready to go each morning
3 in-park face-to-face check-ins with your students each day
Room check each night before bed
stay in same park as your students
- students must be in groups of 2 or more in the park
- Please do not force all students in your group to stay with you at all times in the park. We want all the students to have a good time.
- Universal City Walk - Students must stay with their chaperones
- Universal has 2 parks (Hogwarts Express takes you to the other park)
If a problem arises (student hurt, sick, bickering), report issues to a director. The directors will handle discipline issues.
- a nurse will be on the trip with us for any students who fall ill
- the directors have the emergency info for students if needed

Day of departure

show up to the chaperone meeting ON TIME
- Here Mr. Wells will explain what needs to be done when students arrive, when you check luggage for non-approved trip items, and loading the bus.
we will allow chaperones to load the bus before students
- Chaperones should be seated in the middle and near bacl of the bus
- the Bus leader should sit behind the driver or in the front passenger side seat.
- all students should have a seat buddy
After Buc-ee's (during night time)... boys can not sit with girls. Girls must have a girl seat buddy & boys must have a boy seat buddy.
No Blankets
Keep the bus aisles clear... no one should be sleeping in the bus aisles
