On-Call Retainer Rate
On-call for an agreed upon number of hours per week for a finite time period (e.g., 15 hours per week for 3 months).
Minimum 2-month contract, but can renew and extend as needed.
Most common for fractional marketing leadership roles (e.g., Head of marketing, head of product marketing).
Fixed Deliverable Project Rate
Rate for the entire project set up front with an agreed upon target completion date.
Recommended for longer term projects (multi-week/multi-month).
Scope of deliverables and dependencies required from clients clearly called out in statement of work to reduce risk of delays.
