4-6 players on stage. Players are given a book that’s never been written before. For example “The Story of Squiggles the Duck”. The ref points at players and that player must speak, telling the story until the ref switches what player they’re pointing at. Once the player is no longer being pointed at, they must stop talking even if they are in the middle of a sentence. The next player to be pointed at must continue this sentence. The story continues until the ref decides it has reached a conclusion and calls “The End” or “Scene!”
4 players on the stage, one is the person presenting the slideshow and the other 3 players act as the pictures. The players are given an audience suggestion for a vacation or a trip of some sort. The presenter indicates someone at the lights by saying ‘Next slide, please!” where then the lights are turned off. The other 3 players move themselves as quickly as possible into position and hold those poses once the lights are turned back on. The presenter then has to name each of the players, what they are doing, and how it pertains to their vacation/trip. The presenter has to tell a story through these wacky slideshows, doing 5-8 slides before finishing their presentation.
3-5 players begin by standing or sitting at the front of the stage and are given a suggestion for a scene. All the lights are turned off, and non-playing players must close their eyes. The players on the stage must act out a scene using sound effects and vocalization to tell the story even without being able to see. It’s the opposite of miming, instead of moving without words you’re using words and sounds without moving.
