Exams will either be fully digital or hybrid (with the exception of AP Spanish Language, which will be a paper/pencil exam for 2026). Below are some details about both types of exams, along with links to view videos about them as created by the College Board. For both types of exams, the following notes are very important.
School Issued Chromebook Required
Students must use their school issued Chromebook. If a student brings a personal device, they will not be able to complete their exam and will not be rescheduled for late testing.
Bring Fully Charged Device
Students must have their device fully charged when coming to testing. PLEASE charge your device the night before. PLEASE also bring your charger with you, even if your device is fully charged before testing.
Calculator Information
All exams that require a calculator will have the Desmos calculator built in for student use. Students are also permitted to bring a handheld calculator if they prefer. We will not have extra hand held calculators for students. You can review the approved calculator information in the “what to bring on exam day” section of this site.
College Board Username & Password - Know it!
Students will be required to know their username and password for their College Board account as they will use this to log into the Bluebook testing app for their exam. If they cannot log in, they may not be able to test and will not be rescheduled for late testing. To help students, in case they forget their login information, we are asking all AP students to complete the Google Form linked below - the form can only be accessed with the student's PLSD account. We will use this information if students forget their information. Please rest assured that Ms. Hoffman is the only one with direct access to this form. The form will be cleared and all information shredded following the final exam. Username & Password Google Form
