May honors Teachers, Nurses and Speech-Language Pathologists...THANK YOU for all you do to support students and families. In their honor...Did you know?
Edgewood has 6 Speech-Language Pathologists who provide services for students who qualify for Speech-Language services through Special Education.
All Early Childhood Family Educators, Circle of Friends and Early Childhood Special Education teachers including Birth-3 Early Interventionists & Related Service Providers hold a professional teaching license through the MN Department of Education and many also have a Master's degree.
ALL staff receive continuing education to support our students in accessing curriculum that is tied to MN standards (Early Childhood Indicators of Progress) as well as additional training and peer coaching to support best practices through the EQIP Innovation and Pyramid Model targeting strategies that support positive behavior support and intervention. Staff training was also provided around Trauma Informed Care and Implicit Bias.
See below for some of our staff celebrations of their hard work and dedication to continuous learning and improvement!
