Every April Autism Speaks celebrates World Autism Month, beginning with the United Nations-sanctioned World Autism Awareness Day on April 2. This year marks the 16th annual World Autism Awareness Day. We did not have school on April 2nd so let's celebrate all friends by wearing BLUE on Wednesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 20th.

Our End of the Year Party will be held on June 1st 4:30-6:30 PM at Lakefront Park
Moving On Celebrations will be held during classtime the week of 5/22-5/25 at Memorial Park

Family Resource Centers in Scott County have made it easier for families to connect with the services that they need. A fourth center just opened up in Shakopee this past week, expanding their ability to provide the community with information on a variety of resources and progams.
A collaborative partner with the Community Resource Hubs, Scott County’s efforts reached over 2,000 families in 2022. Learn more about this work through the Star Tribune: Scott County's Family Resource Centers connect families to services and some fun (startribune.com).
Family Resource Center is settling into the new space at 1615 Weston Court and the April calendar is FULL of opportunities to connect including sessions with Scott County Economic Assistance, Scott County Housing, U of M Extension Financial Capability programs, cultural navigation partners (CAP, Mi C.A.S.A., Isuroon, and Community Resource Center) and more.
