About Mrs. Wagner

Hi ~ I am excited to be your teacher this year and to learn and grow and get to know YOU!

I grew up on a farm in a tiny town in the Central Valley with 2 sisters and 3 brothers. I KNOW we worked very hard and yet all I remember is the MASSIVE garden my mother and I tended and riding our horses every. single. day! It was a super place to grow up! I spent a gap year and 1/2 here in Pleasanton on the opening team for the Hilton Hotel (yes! I'm THAT old!). I quickly learned that the Corporate World was NOT for me. I attended SDSU for my BA in Liberal Studies and SFSU for my Teaching Credential, where I lived and taught and then eventually got married and we started a family. Once the kids were nearing school age, I wanted a good community for us to settle and grow roots and remembered LOVING Pleasanton - so we moved here and have never looked back! 

Our 3 kids, Claire, Gus and Zoe, all attended Walnut Grove while I stayed home (in between sports games and play practices and music recitals and scout meetings and, and, and...) running a successful internet marketing business. Those years were busy and chaotic and SO MUCH FUN and yet I always pined away for the time I could come back to teaching. 

This will be my 18th year teaching, 12th here at Walnut Grove and I am ecstatic to be working with this AMAZING TEAM and INCREDIBLE Staff! I have never before seen such a professional group of people and am HONORED to be part of it!
