About Mrs. Martinez

My Name is Dulcie Martinez and I am the school counselor at Alisal Elementary school in Pleasanton.  I graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Developmen in 2006, and then went on to receive my Master's of Science in School Counseling and my Pupil Personal Credential from California State University, East Bay in 2009.  I have been working in the Pleasanton School District since 2008, as a school counselor at the high school, middle school and elementary levels, with most of my time being spent at the elementary level.  I love working with elementary students - -early interventions and learning is fundamental in creating life long healthy habits.  And, kids are just fun to be around and work with!

When I'm not at school, you can most likely find me with my family at an ice rink 🥶 cheering on my favorite guys! ♥️
