Enrollment Information

• Should I enroll my child in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten? 

  • • The child must turn 5 years old on or before September 1st, 2026 --> eligible to enroll in Kindergarten

    • The child must turn 4 years old on or before September 1st, 2026 --> eligible to enroll in TK

• Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year began on Monday, February 2. Please see the PUSD New Enrollment Page for all the steps you will follow to complete your student's Kindergarten enrollment. Ensure all enrollment documents are uploaded, as this will expedite the process.  

• All families need to complete the Kindergarten Questionnaire (linked below) as it is a required enrollment document for Fairlands. Student enrollment will not be processed without ALL required enrollment documents.  Our registrar, Angela Gervasoni, will email you directly to request any missing documents.

  • • • Is your child a current PUSD TK student? You do not need to complete an enrollment packet - you are already enrolled for Kindergarten at Fairlands. Mrs. Gervasoni will email you directly with remaining tasks.

  • Enrollments received after February 27 will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If a school site does not have space remaining in that particular grade level, the student will be overflowed (placed) at one of our other PUSD schools.
