While a child is still within these developmental years it is important to foster their creativity, inquiries, and interests. Within the Futures Program at PLC Sydney we believe the students of today are our future of tomorrow and we find value in supporting them on their journeys.
We understand that each girl’s path is different and that during that path there may be many side streets to explore, bumpy roads to cross and rivers to swim against the tide. We support the opportunity for growth and exploration, for creativity and questions. We believe in equipping each student with the guidance and skills they will require for a lifelong, happy, fulfilling career as professional woman.
We believe in the importance of planning or at least thinking about what may lie beyond school at an early age and the benefits that come with this. So that is why within PLC Sydney Futures we have developed a program that is implemented within Years 5 and 6 which is a starting point for this journey for each girl at the college.
At certain times throughout the school year, students will be involved within Student Futures Workshops. This will be a time for students to explore skills and concepts that make up certain career paths, a chance for personal growth and reflection and a chance for creativity and development. We encourage students to take part in these exciting workshops and we hope they can assist within their future pathways.
