FUTURES PROGRAM
The PLC Sydney Futures Program supports students to identify and plan their next steps beyond school, helping them explore a range of future study and career pathways with confidence.
The program encourages students to develop and articulate transferable skills that can be applied across a variety of careers and workplaces, supporting them to become capable, adaptable and globally minded individuals.
Through current and relevant information, the Futures Program provides access to course options, university requirements, early entry pathways, presentations from alumni, and a range of career and study insights. Students are also exposed to different professions and industries to help them better understand potential future directions.
From as early as Year 5, students are encouraged to identify their personal strengths, skills and interests and begin connecting these to possible occupations. These understandings are then developed and refined as students progress through Senior School and beyond.
