Joe Dolkos

Joe Dolkos is currently a working consultant and mentor for several independent school districts in the North Texas area. 

Mr. Dolkos taught in public schools as head band director for 35 years at Weatherford HS, Fort Worth Western Hills High School, Arlington James Martin High School, Garland Naaman Forrest High School, Lancaster High School and Forney High School. His bands were consistent UIL Sweepstakes Award winners.

He earned his Master of Music degree from East Texas State University and Bachelor’s degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Mr. Dolkos is a sought after adjudicator and clinician throughout Texas.

Mr. Dolkos is a member of, and served on, the State Board for Texas Music Educators Association and Phi Beta Mu-Alpha Chapter International Band Fraternity. He is also a member of Texas Bandmasters Association and Texas Music Adjudicators Association.

Mr. Dolkos lives in Arlington, Texas with his wife Renee. Both children Jennifer and David are current band directors at Chisholm Trail MS-Northwest ISD and Springtown MS respectively.
