Schwarting Elementary School

Samantha McHugh is the STREAM Specialist at Charles E. Schwarting Elementary School. She received her BA in Psychology and her MA in General Education and Special Education. This is her fifth year teaching and third year teaching STREAM. When not in the STREAM Studio, she enjoys crafting, being outside, and spending time with her family.

Eastplain Elementary School

Dr. Eileen Santoro is the STREAM Specialist at Eastplain Elementary School, and also teaches Pre-K STREAM at Eastplain & Schwarting Elementary School, and Plainedge Middle School.  She is certified in childhood, early childhood, special education, gifted and talented, and library media.  This is her eighteenth year teaching and sixth year teaching STREAM.  When not teaching STREAM, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two daughters, Shannon & Summer, and dog, Bandit.

Alexa Stola is the STREAM Specialist at John H. West Elementary School. She received her BA, as well as her MA, in Psychology and Special Education at Marist College. It is her fifth year teaching STREAM.  She enjoys being outside, gardening, going to the beach, and most of all teaching STREAM!

STREAM Specialist

Kevin White is a district-wide CTE teacher and STREAM Specialist in Plainedge School District. Following a career in IT, he became CTE & Computer Science certified, recently completed the Educational Leadership Program at Stony Brook University and holds a School District Leadership Certification. He also is co-advisor of PlainedgeTV and Ethics Bowl at Plainedge High School. When not in the classroom he enjoys spending time with family, friends, hiking, playing, and beach volleyball.

District-Wide STREAM 

Teaching Assistant

Deborah Fallon is the STREAM Teaching Assistant in all three elementary schools.  She was one of the co-founders of the STREAM program.  Before STREAM, Deborah taught computer skills to elementary students.  She is certified in elementary, educational technology, secondary mathematics and school counseling. She is very involved in the district, including being the Director of the Teacher Center.  When she is not at Plainedge, she enjoys going for walks and spending time with her friends and family.
