This course involves the ancient history and culture of Asia and the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, from about 3500 BC to 1500 AD. The religion, economy, customs, traditions and contributions to civilization of these societies will be considered along with the climate and geography of the respective areas.

World History primarily involves the history and cultures of the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa with the main focus on the formation and unique ideas of each civilization.
