What is AI?
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the capability of computer systems to perform tasks that typically require some form of human intelligence, such as learning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
What are LLMs?
LLMs provide educators a unique opportunity to explore AI's potential in the classroom by enabling hands-on interaction with its functionalities.
Machine learning: This type of AI allows computers to learn without explicit programming by analyzing data and identifying patterns.
Natural language processing: This AI field enables computers to understand and process human language, used in applications like speech recognition and machine translation. In other words, 'natural language' is being able to write in everyday language. For example, 'help me teach my students what Gemini is by writing me a brief overview' and going back and forth getting the LLM to help tweak the request.
Computer vision: This branch of AI allows computers to see and understand the world around them, powering applications like facial recognition and self-driving cars.
These are some AI resources you can check out. Most (if not all) now require an e-mail sign-in. Read up on your rights as a user. The goal is to explore, learn, and understand what (if anything) can be meaningful or useful to educators, and to give you space to try things out... in other words - play! with AI!

is an AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language.
Kuki.ai
this is an app to 'entertain' humans, I haven't tried it, came across while reading an article about AI
is a powerful tool for natural language processing tasks, including conversation generation, language translation, question-answering, and more. It has been used in a wide range of applications, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, content creation, and language understanding tasks.
