PACE Pull­-Out Curriculum

PISD is proud to offer a district wide PACE curriculum that provides students the opportunity to develop higher level cognition through a series of high interest and challenging units. The curriculum was crafted with a focus on academic rigor, creativity and open ended intellectual exploration. The grade level units are flexible and build upon one another enabling students the opportunity to develop ownership in their individual learning experience. PACE Specialists from each campus may also choose to supplement the required units (listed under each grade level tab) with additional topics of study.

Elementary PACE

The PACE pull-out program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes higher level / creative thinking while coaching students to grow as individuals and to better understand themselves. Although the PACE curriculum is tied to topics studied or academic skills learned in the general education classroom, pull-out instruction is designed to address topics / skills at a more challenging level and to make connections between what is learned.
