Solo & Ensemble Fee Guidelines

• The entry fee for each event is $12 (updated fee for 2024)

• Students are allowed to participate in up to three events. 

(Example: one solo and one ensemble = two events) 

• Most students will participate in one or two events. 

• Please think carefully before committing to an event. Someone who is planning to participate in three events will need to dedicate a lot of time and energy to preparation and rehearsals. 

• Fee breakdown

  • • Participate in 1 event = pay $12

    • Participate in 2 events = pay $24

    • Participate in 3 events = pay $36

• Each member of an ensemble is responsible for paying the entry fee. 

• It is better to do fewer things well than stretch yourself thin and do poorly.
