Make-up
Mrs. Harrell has a Student Care Closet that she keeps stocked in her room. It is for those moments when families are running behind, a student forgets breakfast/lunch at home, or a student needs a hygiene product.
Attention, Pinnacle Parents: please join us in supporting our food drive, sponsored by SSM. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Beam at jbeam@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com or Regan Stroud at reagan.stroud@pcastudent.me.
College T-Shirt Guidelines:
Students may wear a college t-shirt with their regular uniform pants/skirts/shorts or jeans. Jeans may not have holes, rips, or tears (regardless of patches or leggings underneath). Uniform shoes must be worn. Students will be required to change if their jeans or shoes are not in compliance with College T-shirt day requirements.
MEDICATION INFORMATION
Medication
If possible, parents/guardians should administer medications before or after school. If a student must take medication during the school day, parents must submit a signed Medication Form by the child’s physician. Parents/guardians must send medications to school in a sealed, original container labeled with the following information.
The student’s name and grade
The name of the medication
The amount of the medication to be taken
The time the child is to take the medication
Authorized school staff must administer ALL medication. Students are responsible for going to the office at the appropriate time to receive medication. Parents are responsible for the following: providing a signed medication form, bringing medications to the school, and picking up any leftover medications at the end of the school year. If your child attends an overnight field trip, the medicine must be brought to the school one week in advance of the trip and a medication form must be signed for the trip.
REMEMBER...
PE will be outside often. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and an extra pair of shoes. It is recommended to bring a small, separate bag for dirty shoes.
Every Friday will be School Spirit Day. Students may wear PCA spirit wear tops (athletic eagle logo) with uniform bottoms on Fridays. Please note: Norris Merchandise is selling some PCA items with hoods - these items are NOT approved spirit wear. Per the dress code, students may not wear hoodies or hooded jackets inside the building at any time.
Cell phones and all other personal electronic devices (including but not limited to smartwatches, MP3 players, personal computers/laptops, video games, tablets, etc.) are NOT allowed at school during the school day. Any personal electronic device found during the day will be confiscated. Refer to the school website for the entire technology policy.
Dress Code Reminder: Make sure students are following the school dress code. Please remember that students may not wear hoodies or hooded jackets inside the building at any time. Please make sure that all student clothing, including jackets, coats, shoes, and socks, conforms to the dress code. Refer to the school website for guidelines.
PCA ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Athletic Announcements:
For home athletic events starting at 4:00 PM, students staying after school as spectators must report directly to the gym or field at 3:30 PM, after dismissal. Please do not send students early—the doors will remain locked until 3:30 PM to allow for setup.
Students must enter through the outside gym doors or the field entrance near the baseball field so admission can be collected.
For games starting at 5:00 PM or later, students must leave campus and return at game time.
Players may leave class at 3:00 PM and report to their locker rooms or other areas as directed by their coach.
Siblings of players are not permitted to stay after school unless it's a game day and they are attending as spectators within the allowed timeframe.
Interested in SPRING Sports?
Are you READY to PLAY?
Dear PCA Families,
We’re so glad to see so many students excited about sports at Pinnacle Classical Academy! Many of you have asked what’s needed before tryouts. Here’s a quick guide to help:
Step 1: Create a DragonFlyMax Account
Go to www.dragonflymax.com and create an account for your child. Link it to Pinnacle Classical Academy and complete all the “Yearly Requirements” forms for the 2025–2026 school year.
Green = Complete and submitted
Red = Needs attention
Pending = Waiting for PCA Athletics to verify
Once everything is green or pending, your child’s account is ready.
Step 2: Upload a Current Sports Physical
A physical signed by a medical provider must be uploaded to DragonFlyMax. Make sure it includes the statement: “Medically eligible for sports with or without restrictions.”
Also complete and upload the concussion form (found in DragonFlyMax). These forms help us keep athletes safe.
Step 3: Complete the Athletic Interest Form
Fill out this form for each season your child wants to participate. This lets us know which accounts to verify before tryouts. Without it, your child’s eligibility might not be cleared in time.
Spring Interest Form: https://forms.gle/F9vSo4WF42eaHZv37
Checking Eligibility:
In your child’s DragonFlyMax account:
“2025–2026 School Year – Good to Go!” → Ready for tryouts.
If items are missing, review and complete them.
Pending = We’re reviewing your documents (no action needed).
With nearly 300 athletes per season, the review process takes a little time—thank you for your patience!
Before Tryouts:
About one week before tryouts, we’ll email families who are “Good to Go” and those who still need to finish something. Please check your DragonFlyMax account early and schedule physicals in advance to avoid delays.
If you have any questions, please reach out. Go Eagles!
