Project Description: For this project, we were asked to create a simulation of a rocket that travels from Earth to Mars and back again. Every component was designed to roughly be to scale, except for the size of the sun. We used the pen drawing feature to show the orbital track of each object as well as the path the rocket takes. We controlled the rocket flight by adjusting the state of the variable ("fly to mars" and "fly to earth") to true or false. We used a slider to control the speed variable of the rocket. However, if the speed selected was too slow, the rocket would have to orbit multiple times before catching up to the targeted planet. In addition to the requirements, I added sound effects for background music, both buttons, and the rocket flight. Also, upon crashing into the sun, the sun explodes and is animated using 4 different costumes.
<------------- Planning table to scale sizes, distances from the sun, and year length somewhat accurately
