HTML Project: All About Me and More About Me Description
In this project, we were tasked to create 2 HTML webpages for "All About Me", and "More About Me".
The project required us to be proficient in certain HTML skills, such as creating webpage titles, changing background colors, adding images to webpages, adding borders, using text formatting tags, and using hyperlinks.
Procedure:
First, I started by creating a basic HTML webpage with no content. I then added the things I wanted to write about, like the activities I participate in at school and after school.
After I added all the content, I started using text formatting tags to make my page more colorful and visually pleasing. I added, bold, italic, underline, highlight, background color, font color, font size, and font family.
Then, I added images and borders. I also added hyperlinks in this step.
Finally, I re-checked everything in Khan Academy and cross-checked with classmates before submitting my page.
S- I was extremely happy with the final product I created. I am extremely proud of these two webpages, and I think that creating them was a fantastic learning experience.
O- A part of this project I think I could have improved on was the aesthetic aspect of this webpage. I think that spending more time thinking about how to make the project more visually attractive could have helped make it much better.
U- This project was a great learning experience, and I became much more proficient in HTML and CSS after this. I think this also really helped my general coding and organisation skills, as keeping track of various tags, attributes, and syntax is very important when using HTML and CSS.
L- Something that limited my ability to work more efficiently was writing block. I felt like I had no content to write about, so I spent too much time thinking about it. Looking back, I had great topics I could have written about, but I discounted them too quickly for fear of imperfection.
WISCR- Throughout this project, I think I embodied the Insightful and Critical Thinking and Self-Motivated aspects of WISCR. Even when I couldn't figure out a part of the code, I was able to infer the syntax based off of previous instances of similar code. Furthermore, I also think I was self-motivated. I completed the project with little to no help from others, and I think I was very motivated during the project.
