Cork Pals

For this cork pals project, I decided to go with an octopus and a hermit crab. I ran out of time in my design for the hermit crab so the bottom is a circle but the top is a rectangle. I was very careful making sure that my octopus would stand up straight when I made it because that is part of the grade we will be getting is on wether it stands up straight or not. I was also very careful when making sure that my cork pals will fit on my cork because if they don't, that will be a huge part of my grade taken off.

1. S - Strength: My strength was definitely the octopus. I put a lot of thought into designing the octopus.

2. O - Opportunity: I love designing in tinker cad and I have done it before. Now I know how to 3d print and how to use 3d printers.

3. U - Understanding: I understand that I will get a bad grade on the hermit crab because I spent too much time on the octopus.

4. L - Limitation: I ran out of time when designing the hermit crab. I had a vision that it would have a pattern on the shell but that never happened.

I was self motivated because I worked on this project at home even though I wasn't behind at all.

I was an independent learner because I looked up several youtube videos on how to fully utilize tinker cad.
