Pine Eagle School District’s proposed $5,432,510 bond would authorize a property tax increase to repair and update schools, add classrooms and upgrade safety.
If the proposed bond passes, the District would receive a $5,432,510 million state grant, providing a total of $10,865,020 for identified facilities projects.
PROPOSED BOND PROJECTS
Replace existing heating system and electrical service that is original to building and nearing end-of-life. Parts for repair are becoming hard to find.
Install energy-efficient electric heat pumps to provide heating and air conditioning, including during wildfire smoke events
Install a fresh air system to upgrade air quality
Replace the main electrical service and increase electrical capacity
Replace the drop ceiling tile grid with new ceiling tile grid and install new energy- efficient LED lighting throughout building
Add secured entry vestibule with adjacent office space at the main entry of the High School
Install ADA accessible ramp so students and visitors with disabilities can easily access the school and activities
Remodel existing office into additional classrooms
Complete the outdoor track
Construct addition north of existing Elementary School to include a new gymnasium, wrestling room, weight room and ADA restrooms
The new addition would allow for three existing Elementary School classrooms to return to instructional use. They are currently used as the weight room and wrestling rooms.

Add parking spaces
Replace the main electrical service and increase electrical capacity
