COMMUNITY INPUT

Pine Eagle School District, together with community members, has been involved in long range facilities planning for more than two years. The District worked with Wenaha Group, a Pendleton project management company, to conduct a detailed facilities assessment starting in December 2022. The District convened a Community Bond Advisory Committee, composed of 22 community members, to review the assessment and prioritize a list of proposed projects. The District solicited additional community input through a survey and at School Board meetings after the Initial Bond did not pass in May of 2024.

The Committee’s revised recommended list of projects reflects two priorities: update the schools systems, and secure the High School entry for Safety and ADA accessibility.
