I can use the grid and free transform to rotate objects precisely.
I can group and and transform multiple images at one time.
I can use the refine edge brush.
In this assignment, you will add more advanced techniques to your toolbox! You will rotate objects with precise symmetry. In addition, you will group objects in folders in order to manage and manipulate multiple layers at once. Finally will use the refine edge brush in the select and mask window. This tool will allow you to remove the background of images on complex images.
5pts Doc Setup - Work is 6in x 6in, 300ppi
10pts Scale/Rotate - Images are similar in size to the example and use constrained proportions, and rotated 90 degrees
10pts Image Selection - The backgrounds of the individual images are removed to match the example.
10pts Use of Grid - Images are placed and rotated using the grid to match the example
5pts Text - Student used text and year to communicate ownership
5pts Mastery - For mastery, you will need to use the SAME images to create a DIFFERENT COMPOSITION.

45 points total
Document size is 6 x 6 inches, 300ppi
Grid setup is 8 rows and 8 columns.
SCALE= 65%
ROTATE= 45 degrees
Remember to move the "pin" when making symmetrical rotations!
Using the "ctrl" key will select and deselect layers individually.
Using the "shift" key will select everything from the beginning, the middle, and the end.
Use this tool inside select and mask to clean up your edges and remove small parts of the background.
