Community Growth—We aid in population recruitment and support infrastructure and service projects that meet local needs.
Central Liaison—We connect, coordinate, and collaborate with partner agencies and the community to achieve mutual goals.
Community Marketing—We promote Pinawa and its assets to residents, visitors and new businesses.
Business Assistance—We provide information to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs and promote local products and services.
Business Attraction—We seek and attract new businesses and investments that align with local needs.
Non-Profit Assistance—We support social development by providing information and cash grants to local non-profits.
Any person over 18 years of age, business owner, or non-profit group that is located in the LGD of Pinawa can become a member of the PCDC. Members are represented by the PCDC Board of Directors, whose primary responsibilities are to govern the Corporation, provide strategic direction, and ensure that it has sufficient resources to carry out its work.
Members of the Corporation meet at least once each calendar year to elect Directors, approve financial statements and reports presented by the Board of Directors, and propose or amend by-laws for the corporation as needed.
