The GSMA Mobile World Congress is a combination of the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world. In 2017, the MWC reach a new record with 108.000 attendees (7% more than in 2016); and this year 2018 it is expected to exceed that number.

This year 2018 the GSA (European Global Navigation Satellite System Agency) has deployed a new stand (located in Hall 8.0, Stand 8.0G17) where information about EGNOS and Galileo systems is provided to all interested. Furthermore, the stand is also used as a showcase for some of the most challenging projects funded by GSA, related to RPAS using EGNOS and Galileo solutions:

• REAL: RPAS EGNOS-assisted landings

• EASY-PV: EGNSS high Accuracy System improving PhotoVoltaic plants maintenance

• GAUSS: Improving safety & security in current RPAS operations and future UTM operational system

• Geovision: GNSS driven EO and Verifiable Image and Sensor Integration for mission-critical Operational Networks

• Mapkite: EGNOS-GPS/Galileo-based high-resolution terrestrial-aerial sensing system

• Argonaut: Geo-location solution based on the combination of an advanced navigation receiver and a powerful navigation data processing cloud service

In the framework of REAL project, and with dissemination purposes, a new information leaflet has been designed and made available in the GSA stand to provide project information to interested attendees (download REAL leaflet).

Furthermore, during the following days, REAL project representatives will be available in the stand providing extended information the following hours:
