Phillip Savage

Welcome. My name is Phillip Savage and I am excited to be teaching 7th grade ELA as well as Social Studies. I am new to the area, and have been in Georgia for 11 years. I migrated from Michigan (Go Blue) and have settled in North Georgia. I am an avid history buff. Most of my leisure time is spent looking for the historical value of the places I visit.

My Classroom is intended to be a safe learning environment with the emphasis on "RESPECT". We will strive to be courteous, Knowledgeable, helpful and supportive.

Course Description:This course is designed to improve the student’s reading, writing, listening, speaking, and research abilities. It will cover grammar and usage, the writing process, and reading a variety of literature (short stories, poetry, and novels). The objectives covered this year follow the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
