"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." ~ Helen Keller
My name is Glenda Cagle. I will be your child's Georgia History teacher this year. I'm a native of Pickens County. I have been teaching since 1997, all of which have been in Pickens County. I obtained my BA in Middle School Education from Brenau University, my Masters in Early Childhood from Piedmont College and my Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Curriculum from Lincoln Memorial University.
I live in Cagletown with my husband, Terry, for 35 years in Cagletown. We have one daughter, Mandy. She is married to Nick Stewart. We also have two grandsons, Isaiah and Turner. In my spare time, my husband and I enjoy traveling on the motorcycle to new places. I also enjoy shopping and spending time with my family.
This year we will explore our state of Georgia. We will focus on the geography, history, government, and economics and how they interconnect.
You will be expected to work hard in the class, think critically, think independently and interdependently, problem-solve, and use those skills to teach others.
My role is to be your guide and to encourage and support you in your learning. Your role is to do the work, achieve mastery of the standards, and show off your Dragon PRIDE!
Together we will achieve great things this year!
