Kyle Rasco

Hello! I am Coach Rasco and I will be teaching the brand new Sports Medicine Class this year as part of the Health Sciences Pathway. Although I am new to the CTAE Department, I have spent the past 13 years teaching Health Education & Personal Fitness here at PHS. A little background information about me: I graduated from PHS in 1997 and attended The University of Alabama, earning a degree in Athletic Training and receiving my certification in 2001. I worked as a graduate assistant AT for two years at the University of Georgia with the Softball team, earning a Masters in Sports Administration & an SEC Championship ring! After UGA, I worked for 2 years as the assistant AT at Georgia Southern University for Men's Basketball, Tennis and Cheerleading, before coming back to Jasper. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I also serve as the Athletic Trainer for all sports programs at Pickens High School. My wife Cassie serves as the Director of Preschool at The First Baptist Church in Jasper and we are blessed to have twin boys (8) Kiptyn & Christian and our third son Chance (3).
