Have you ever had to bring your mom or an older adult to go out with you and your friends? I have, one time my mom had to go with me and my friends to the arcade at the Fashion District. It is important for young people to have access to third spaces.

I think it's important for teenagers to have access to third spaces because teenagers now don't have anywhere to hang out at. For example, at the Fashion District now you have to have an adult with you. They used to not have that rule. The rule started April 2023. I used to go with my friends all the time. Now my mom has to go with me and all my friends. Sometimes I don't want my mom to go with me and my friends, but that’s the rule, and I have to follow it. I understand why they made this rule. 

Teens these days need somewhere to hang out now with their friends without their parents having to come with them. Going out gives us something to do and give our parents a break while we have fun with our friends.
