Gemini is Google's AI model and serves as an on-demand thought partner. It operates as a sophisticated chatbot that can be conversed with naturally. All faculty and staff have access to Gemini when signed in with their District credentials. High School students also have access to Gemini. While the district's version is limited with the type of content that can be created, it is designed to prepare older students for the AI-integrated workplace they will enter once they graduate.
The results that come from Gemini are directly connected to the quality of the prompt that is entered. Different than a Google Search, Gemini acts more as an assistant. You can chat back and forth with Gemini until you get the desired result. When creating prompts, consider using the PARTS model.
